Boating

The Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean make Wilmington one of the best locations for boating and water activities on the east coast. With a variety of boat and slip rentals, from power boats to leisurely sail boats, Wilmington will satisfy any boat-lover, and with a mild coast climate, will provide year-round enjoyment and opportunities for boating and boating-related activities. If fishing is your enjoyment, TidalWalk creates an atmosphere for every level of fisherman – drop a line from TidalWalk's private beach, right off TidalWalk's pier, take a canoe ride on the Intracoastal Waterway, or create deep-sea adventures on the open ocean. The variety of fishing experiences just minutes from TidalWalk's dock is unparalleled. The Intracoastal Waterway, an outstanding place to go fishing, is TidalWalk's front door, but it's only 45 seconds to the Atlantic Ocean from our pier by boat and the Cape Fear River is a short 2 minute boat ride as well.
